Only a mile from the sea, Beersheba is a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside - a unique setting for a truly unforgettable escape. The recently converted 3-bedroom barn, Beersheba Brea, has lovely rural views of the surrounding AONB countryside dominated by the NT’s Trencrom Hill, an Iron Age granite hill fort within easy walking distance, and glimpses of the south coast sea.

For a longer hike, try the ancient pilgrim’s route of St Michael’s Way which passes the farm’s Neolithic standing stone, and links to the SW Coast Path at both the north and south coasts. Wildlife abounds locally, from soaring buzzards and skylarks on the farm, to seals in St Ives Bay and wildfowl and wading birds at the RSPB reserve on Hayle Estuary (SSSI). When the day’s activities are over, it’s an easy trip to St Ives to sample some of the county’s best seafood restaurants.
