Nestled in delightful gardens overlooking the River Torridge.
As you drive down the country lane past the donkey you might catch a glimpse of the resident buzzard or the badgers before rounding the corner to find Yeoldon nestled on the banks of the river. Enjoy watching the rabbits munching grass as you sup coffee or wine amongst the array of colourful flowers in the peaceful gardens. Situated on the North Devon Coast Path, within minutes drive of the 180 mile Tarka Cyclists Trail and some of the South West’s most glorious beaches.
Yeoldon House makes an excellent base for exploring the delights of North Devon. The new bridge by-passing Barnstaple also places Yeoldon within 30 minutes drive of the Exmoor National Park and Braunton Burrows, Britain’s first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. All ten bedrooms are individually decorated and are all en-suite. Choose from the newly refurbished, elegant four-poster, a delightful split level room or “The Crow’s Nest” tucked up under the eaves, its balcony offering a stunning view.
"Our fourth stay and each one as perfect as the first. Superb food, excellent service, wonderful room and view - what more can we say?"
Alan and Diana Smith, September 2007.
