Our Garden tour visits four of Dorset’s most beautiful gardens, and includes optional short walks in beautiful countryside. Our hallmark is a warm welcome, personal service and excellent, hand-picked accommodation.
Introduced in 2006, this is a 2 day (3 night) tour of four of the most beautiful gardens in Dorset, offering you a choice of excellent accommodation to suit your taste and pocket. If you like, you can visit one of the three attached stately homes, which is reputedly haunted by a variety of ghosts. There will also be stops at other places of interest en route, as well as some delightful short walks on the way to or from three of the gardens for those who so wish.
Another attraction of our gardens tour is the drive each day along small lanes through gorgeous countryside and unspoilt villages, including a stop at an attractive pub in the middle of the day. There should also be enough time for a Dorset "cream tea” or just a cuppa in the late afternoon. This short break can be combined with our evocative Thomas Hardy tour (for walkers or non-walkers) to make a memorable 5 night holiday.
