Swanage Central Beach

A sandy beach backed by colourful gardens.

This is an excellent beach with gently sloping sands and safe sheltered swimming. Activities on the water include sailing, windsurfing and diving. The Dorset Coast Path extends in both directions from Swanage Bay, passing through beautiful countryside along this section of coast.

Canoe and pedalo hire is also available.

Beach facilities include disabled access, toilets (including disabled) and refreshments.
