Praa Sands Beach, Nr Helston, Cornwall

Attractive, gently sloping, sandy beach backed by dunes and the village green.

At both ends, the coastal path rises up over steep cliffs offering views towards Penzance and the Lizard peninsular. The bay is popular with families and surfers alike. During the spring and summer basking sharks, seals and dolphins may be seen off the beach.

The village itself also boasts many local facilities including ample car parking, camping, toilets and beach shops.

DIRECTIONS:


Situated between two major towns, Penzance and Helston on the A394. Praa Sands has a bus route to both towns and other surrounding villages. Penzance also has a rail service.
