Crantock Beach, Nr Newquay, Cornwall

A wonderful sandy beach nestled within east and west Pentire Headlands.

It is backed by high dunes at one end and by steep cliffs at the other. There is a large expanse of mostly tide swept golden sand and the River Gannel enters the sea at the northern edge.

DIRECTIONS:


Access is through Crantock Village, just south of Newquay. The car park rests behind the dunes.Occasional buses run during high season. The nearest train station is Newquay.
