One of Devon’s oldest working micro-breweries with bar and dining facilities.
The Beer Engine owners Mike & Jan Tutty together with their dedicated team have built up an excellent reputation for freshly prepared food served in a friendly family atmosphere. We are one of the oldest working micro-breweries with bar and dining facilities. Unique in offering our own freshly brewed ales, such as Rail Ale, Piston Bitter & the Sleeper Heavy.
We make full use of local produce within our menu, which consists of fresh fish delivered on a daily basis, fresh baked bread and soups, also having a wide range of vegetarian choices. We have strived to maintain consistency within our establishment for all our customers, and welcome constructive criticism when necessary. Our fully qualified staff achieve good customer relations and welcome everyone with a smile.
